Have you ever thought about contacting your favorite food company and asking them for coupons?  I did.  I kept thinking if I only had more ________ coupons then I could cut my spending even more.  So I started to look though “The Coupon Notebook” to see where I was lacking coupons.  Right away I noticed that I didn’t have many meat coupons.  Since we try and eat breakfast for dinner at least once a week, I looked up Farmland on the Internet and inquired about coupons for their breakfast meat products. (Includes bacon, sausage, smoked sausages, and ham)  I was very surprised that by spending less than 5 minutes on their site and filling in some mailing information I would be sent coupons in the mail.  I received those coupons Saturday and was thrilled to see that they sent me eight coupons for any Farmland meat product.  The coupons ranged from $1.00/1 to $.55/1.  This is great since my store doubles coupons up to $1.00.  So now I basically have eight $1.00/1 coupons.  YEA!!!  What is even better is that Farmland product are on sale this week at my local grocery store ranging in price from $1.00 for breakfast sausage to $3.00 for bacon or $2.50 for Smoked Sausages.  This will be my week to stock up on meat for the coming month.

I want to challenge each of you to go through your coupons this week and see what type of coupons you are lacking.  Then see if you can find the companies website.  Many times it just takes a quick email to let them know you are a loyal customer and  you enjoy their product for you to be sent a free sample or free coupons.

Go here to sign up for Farmland Coupons.  You can hold on to these and wait for the next sale, since they don’t expire until 2011.
