This week you will notice that my menu looks much like it did last week. After having a microwave breakdown and a few other unexpected chaotic moments, my family relied on our emergency meal and leftovers to see us through the week. This week I was able to snag some really good fruit deals at Aldi and Dillons. I did make a trip to Target and Walgreens this weekend to pick up a few deals.
Walgreens – 6 boxes of Kleenex and a newspaper
Total – $9.39 – ($6.00 coupons and RR’s) = $3.39 OOP w/ $4.00 in RR’s back
Sorry no pic – Kids had to restock school with Kleenex
Target -

Total $38.08 – $16.95 in coupons = $21.13 OOP I was over charged for 1 item and they forgot to deduct 1 coupon. Not worth going back when you have 4 children with you!
Aldi and Dillons

Aldi Total $12.59 OOP
Dillons total $37.22 – $6.00 coupons = $31.77 OOP I was overcharged AGAIN for apples. I will go back, w/o children, since I will get back about $2.00. I was able to score 1/2 gallons of Chocolate milk for $.50 each and some reduced bananas.
Total for the week $68.88. I had an extra $10 from last week to add to this one, for a total of $70 for the week.
