I have heard from many of you that you just don’t want to keep up with the mess and sometimes the clutter of paper coupons, but you still want to save money at the store.
I would encourage you to try E- Coupons.
An E- Coupon is simply an electronic coupon that you “load” to your store loyalty card.
There are several sites out there that you can use to load coupons. You first have to register your shoppper’s card, load your coupons and then when you check out, your card is swiped and the computer will deduct the coupon from your total. You can only use each E-Coupon once and they do not double. You must load your card at least 24 hours BEFORE you plan on using it.
The major sites that serve several large grocery chains include…

Shortcut.com – This site will allow you to add up to 75 coupons to your card at one time.

Cellfire.com – Depending on which store’s card you are using, you will be limited on how many coupons you can load. Refreshes coupons around the 15th of every month.
Softcoin – This site has to be accessed directly from your stores web site. Visit your local store’s site and see if they have E-Coupons available to load.
While using E-Coupons is a great way to save money be sure to check your receipt and make sure you received your discount.
On your receipt you can tell which E-Coupons was used by the abbreviation used
Shortcuts- SCuts -
Cellfire -CFire -
or Softcoin - will state the name of the store and then the coupon amount.
I have found that my Cellfire and Shortcuts only work at certain locations while my Softcoin coupons work at any location. Most of these sites have email or 1-800 numbers for you to contact them with if there is a problem.
So if you still want to save money, but don’t want to deal with paper coupons you can still save on many of the items you buy everyday by using E-Coupons.
