One thing I like to do when I am spring cleaning is to totally strip our beds, wash the mattress protectors, vacuum the mattresses, and buy new pillows. I am a little picky about my pillow, but with 4 kids in the house, I think I will head to Target soon!

**Remember, Kmart has changed it’s policies on doubling coupons. You must have a Shopyourway Rewards Program card (loyalty card) for Kmart or Sears in order to get the double coupons. If you have not signed up, visit their website now and register. It is easy.

Coupons.com has a coupon for $3 off any one package of Huggies diapers. You should be able to print this twice, so hurry before the print limit is reached. Even if you don’t have little ones in diapers, you could give ‘em to someone who does, or, you could buy diapers and use them as a gift for a new baby!

I have read that you can combine these coupons with the $10/$20 KMart coupon and get $16.00 off of two packages. Make sure your purchase is at least $20 before taxes and coupons, and you give the KMart coupon first.

UPDATE: This is the response that I received late this afternoon from the corporate office at KMart. ” It has come to our attention that there are some unauthorized coupons that have been circulated on the internet. The coupon you are referring is only valid at specific stores in the Baltimore, New York City, Long Island and Chicago area.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience this coupon error has caused you.”

**NOTE** A friend called me this morning and said that they had try to use this coupon at our local store. It is reported that neither the Hutchinson, or the Salina stores are currently accepting it. According to the manager, they cannot confirm that it is a legitimate coupon. I have contacted the corporate offices and will let you know once I have a response.

There is an amazing coupon on the KMart website. Its is $10/$20 purchase!! It gets even better….it is a PDF and can be printed several times and is good until May 15!! Be sure to print it and use it during the Super Double Event coming up in April.

It’s Daylight Savings Time!!

Well, I guess that it has not officially arrived, but as of about 7 hours ago, all of our clocks tried to trick us! Kevin decided to change all the clocks at about 4:30 this afternoon, so that the kids would have a normal evening and get to bed on time…..too bad he couldn’t trick Mom. Normal IS NOT eating dinner at 8:30, only to be ushered off to bed. Yes, they went to bed, partially due to a very early morning soccer game that rolled everyone out of bed at 7:15! As for normal, uhmmm, no.

What do you think of daylight savings time? Since I am a night owl by nature, it takes a while to adjust. I absolutely DO NOT like getting up when it is still pitch black outside.

I just wanted to remind everyone to spring forward, and don’t think about losing that hour of your weekend.
